Dynamics 365 Business Central can either be cloud based or on premise, so you can deploy it wherever suits your organisation. However, we really believe that the greatest benefits of Dynamics 365 Business Central can be gained by deploying it in the cloud. This means that there is no requirement for on premise hardware, and you won’t need to make any changes to your infrastructure to start using it. As for disaster recovery, it’s all up there in the cloud, meaning that you don’t need a particular contingency plan in place. Being cloud based means that Business Central will work on any device from anywhere; you can be as mobile as you need and still get everything done not in spite of your systems but because of them. Ever faced expensive costs or had an issue with an upgrade? A true cloud based program will update quickly, meaning little to no downtime, especially when compared with software upgrades you might have experienced in the past. Plus, just a single login is required to enter the Microsoft Eco System (Dynamics 365, Office 365, Power BI, Power Query, PowerApps). It’s easy and secure.
There are many benefits of Dynamics 365 Business Central, one aspect that offers up convenience and cost savings is the advantage of SaaS licencing. This means that you don’t have to purchase your full licence upfront, the costs can be managed across the full financial year. Plus, when you pay on a monthly subscription basis all the patches, hotfixes, and upgrades you might need are all included – you’ll actually be saving money in the long term. And of course, you can increase or decrease your licence easily, adjusting to the demands of your business and the economy.
When you use Business Central you know you are using the very best technology available, and you know that it will always be kept up to date thanks to a regular investment from Microsoft every year. The benefits of Dynamics 365 Business Central include full integration with the full Microsoft suite, and the fact that it is based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV (which has over 140,000 customers across the globe) should also put your mind at rest. When placed on the cloud, Dynamics 365 delivers industry-leading security measures and privacy policies to safeguard customer data.
Business Central has built-in intelligence in the form of AI, which is designed to save the user time and energy by providing insights, for example cash flow forecasts and automating data entry. Business Central will also notify you about tasks, you might be interested in connecting to other tasks you are about to complete. If you create a purchase order to reorder a product from a supplier, Business Central will notify you of other items from the same supplier that are about to be sold out, so you can add them to the purchase order to ensure stock never falls below your designated thresholds.
AI also allows you to streamline your business processes and reduce time consuming manual data entry tasks. For example, when uploading a product image during product setup, Business Central reads the image, recognises the associated product and automates parts of the setup, completes fields and offers suggestions for improvements.
