Summary

We are looking for a Senior Sales Representative to contribute to our business. Candidates must have a good understanding of the purposes and benefits of Customer Engagement software within a business, be familiar with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement or other similar CRM solutions and be able to demonstrate a track record in securing new business wins.

Xpedition are looking for a senior sales person to contribute to our business by securing new business wins for the Customer Engagement Practice.

  • Develop and maintain a high level of understanding of Xpedition’s proposition and be able to present these in context to the client’s requirement
  • Engage constructively with the marketing department to develop campaign plans to generate business account opportunities
  • Source own direct opportunities through own contacts and referral network
  • Develop and maintain a high level of understanding of key vertical markets and propositions as agreed with the General Manager
  • Keep our CRM system up to date with all details of prospects, customers, contacts, sales activity and customer feedback
  • Develop a qualified pipeline providing 3 times cover of quota target.
  • Produce accurate sales forecasts
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual margin targets by selling Xpedition Services and Microsoft Cloud Subscriptions
  • Follow up all sales opportunities within the agreed target times
  • Engage with clients to ensure Contract renewals
  • Produce high quality, technically and commercially sound quotations / proposals, adhering to company procedures and standards
  • Manage the sales process from initial opportunity through to the securing of the client purchase order
  • As reasonably requested by the project manager engage with the client during the implementation to ensure that sufficient services are sold
  • As reasonably requested by the support manager engage with the client to assist in any problem resolution
  • To carry out additional duties as may occur from time to time as instructed and agreed by the General Manager
  • Represent Xpedition in a professional and positive manner at all times
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual margin targets by selling Xpedition Services and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Cloud Subscriptions
  • Degree, preferably in an IT or business related subject, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Candidates will be educated to degree level, or have equivalent experience and will have at least 5 years’ experience of solution selling
  • Ability to engage effectively with and influence senior decision makers and executives
  • Candidates will have an excellent record of accomplishment of selling consultancy and cloud business solutions of £50k to £250k value into corporate and medium sized businesses
  • Understanding of the purposes and benefits of Customer Engagement software is essential
  • Will have sold Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Salesforce.com, Oracle CRM, SAP CRM or similar. Understanding of the purposes and benefits of CRM is essential
  • A good knowledge of certain technical issues and project management techniques would also be advantageous
  • Key to success is the ability to assimilate clients’ business pain points, understand the drivers of the business and its strategy, and turn these into a compelling solution
  • Experience of value selling and solution selling techniques is a core requirement of the role
  • Must be a competent writer of business letters, emails, quotations, proposals and reports
  • Must be an excellent face-to-face and telephone communicator. Able to demonstrate success and experience of managing major accounts, customers, and large contracts
  • Able to spend the nights away from home. Able to travel to Xpedition offices. Able to work extended hours on occasions when required.  Must have clean or near clean driving licence
  • Self-driven, results-orientated with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality and client satisfaction
  • The candidate will be primarily based in London but there will be a requirement to travel to client sites and spend the occasional night away from home
  • On occasion some international travel may be required
  • Candidate will have clean United Kingdom driving licence
