We are looking for an experienced Dynamics 365 Presales Consultant to work alongside our Sales team. The ideal candidate will have either a proven track record working with Dynamics 365 CE in either a pre-sales or functional consultancy role.

This is a client facing role, the candiate must be comfortable presenting and demonstrating the Dynamics 365 CE functionality to Senior Managers and Board level staff.

The Pre Sales Consultant will work alongside our Sales team to demonstrate and present the capabilities of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 solution set effectively and professionally to enable us to continue to expand our substantial Customer Engagement practice.  The role also requires regular interaction the software development, consultancy and project management teams.

  • Demonstrate how Xpedition can help solve business problems
  • Build, develop and deliver compelling tailored demonstrations of end-to-end solutions for prospective customers
  • Develop and deliver demonstrations and presentations at Xpedition seminars
  • Analyse clients’ business requirements
  • Develop suggested architecture maps for fully integrated solutions including both Microsoft and supporting technologies
  • Provide responses to technical and product questions from customers
  • Provide technical and functional information for sales tenders
  • Liaise with delivery and development managers to assist in the production of accurate project estimates
  • Contribute to company procedures and policies to help gain new business
  • Develop and maintain suitable software demonstration environments
  • Keep up to date with new releases of both Dynamics 365 and supporting technologies
  • Provide advice to the sales team on strengths and weaknesses of competing products
  • Ability to take ideas and concepts and turn these into an IT based solution
  • Ability to articulate and demonstrate business benefits of any proposed solution
  • Ability to tailor a Dynamics 365 solution including customisation, workflows, business process flows, business rules and chart and dashboard creation
  • Degree, preferably in an IT or business related subject, or equivalent relevant experience
  • The candidate will either have a proven track record as a Dynamics 365/CRM Pre-Sales consultant or as a Client Facing Functional Dynamics 365/CRM Consultant with Pre-Sales responsibilities.
  • Comfortable presenting at Senior Executive / Board level
  • Experience of working to deadlines
  • An appreciation of technical issues and project management techniques
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • In depth knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Intelligent Business Cloud
  • Working knowledge of Dynamics 365 development options
  • Knowledge of all Dynamics 365 interfaces including Web, Outlook, and Unified Client Interface
  • Appreciation of supporting architecture including Office365, PowerApps, Flow and the Common Data Service 2.0
  • Knowledge of supporting Microsoft solutions including D365 Marketing App, Microsoft Social Engagement and PowerBI
  • Knowledge of supporting 3rd party solutions such as ClickDimensions and Scribe
  • Understanding of integration techniques and tools available
  • The candidate will be primarily based in London but there will be a requirement to travel to client sites and spend the occasional night away from home
  • On occasion some international travel may be required
  • Candidate will have clean United Kingdom driving licence
